I wish I had the answer to your question. My mother told me it is absolutely necessary for a Christian to attend church. We had many arguments, debates and heated discussions on this issue. My position is I am the church wherever I go, so if I choose to worship at home or in a building it is okay. My mother would respond with "fail not to assemble yourself with other believers..." I would counter with what does that actually mean? There are people who cannot attend church due to illness, work and I am sure many other valid reasons. I think... I would rather be a part of a church than not, but still do not absolutely believe it is mandatory for salvation. I could be wrong and am willing to be corrected. However, I am probably right

You are right, it's not mandatory for salvation.

When you go to church on a consistent basis every Sunday and then miss one Sunday because of sickness or whatever, you definitely feel a void.

You are right as I am very proud of my pastor and have a lot of love and compassion for my church members as it is all directed toward God.

Hey I would not mind attending a church like that. I wonder if it is in my area? I am sure it can't be or else I would be there
