If I publish a Christian book, and it is not what I really believe, but I know it will make me money... is it right to do so?
I was actually thinking of writing a book on the gospel as I see it displayed in the Bible... However, if I change a few things I would sell more copies.

What should I do?
If you feel conviction and yet you still do it then you are in the wrong.

To be true to yourself and your beliefs is priceless.
To not be true to yourself and your beliefs...well, you will eventually learn the lesson that it wasn't worth the little bits of gold you received for doing so.

From what I've read here on CD of some of your so-called "beliefs" I would discourage you from making such an enormous error, and thus filling the minds of the simple with such questionable material as you would publish.

Spare us I beg you!
Another uncalled for post that does nothing but provoke. I`ve never seen so much condemnation, self righteouseness mean spirited antagonizing on a chrisitian forum. Everyone wants everybody else to agree with them and if they don`t, the name calling and labeling starts. No wonder people are fleeing from organized religion in droves.

I personally would say you need to be true to what you believe.

I agree with Meerkat...we are just staing our opinions on things...if you can't take it SPM..then find another board to fellowship with where everyone agrees with you, instead of condemning those that disagree, even if it is passionately.

Obviously if you have to ask this question then you have no business writing a book.
