13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Beautiful passage! Not sure it's saying what you intended though...
John 3:36 (NIV) "Whoever puts his faith in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see that life, for God's wrath remains on him."

I didn't mean to say that God is always pleased with what someone "does." But, he's always pleased with his handiwork, the person He created and loves unconditionally. You, JimmieJ, are His masterpiece! He desires a relationship with each person that he uniquely created. John 17:3 says, "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

We are in the midst of a great falling away from being the Church which is Christ's body when we meet.
Men should be insulted to take the woman's position along with the rest of the audience, lying back passively so that the man up front, elevated over the rest, can pump his seed into us. A man is made to stand up and and roar, like a lion (as I heard Gene Edwards once say,) to speak forth the praise and glories of His God, authoritatively, according to the moving of the Holy Spirit upon him.
Because of our present tradition of priests and The Pastor System with an un-Biblical non-functioning Order of Laymen we find ourselves like Jeremiah of old. What he described was, "Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay." (Jer 20:9, AV) It is only their word, stamped with their name, pre-approved of their sectarian system through other mediators, that is allowed. The Bride is not on the agenda. For us it is like trying to give birth with our legs tied together.
The present practice in Institutional Christianity may be compared to a another man in bed between a man and his bride and he is telling the bride, "To love your husband you must go through me." Considering the husband is God and the Bride is His people, the position of that other man is one I certainly don't want to be in.
Rather than meeting on the basis of Christ as the head, present and directly communicating to and through each of us, members of His body, we have set aside a professional elite who alone have authorization to express Christ among us. Christ suffered and died for each of us to have an intimate relationship with God; but now, other mediators are inserted between us and God and we are expected to pay them for it! JESUS WANTS HIS BODY BACK!!!

Sounds like the Catholic church. I don't know about other denominations, but in the Southern Baptist church, the pastor IS NOT a go-between.
