I guess they didnt factor in all the new pentastar engine heads they are paying to replace in 2012 jeeps.
They have been failing at an alarming rate.
Chrysler trys to say its only a small percentage but according to dealers they have been failing at a rate of 500 a week.
Just had mine fail 2 weeks ago at 16k miles.
Our dealer said he wishes they didnt learn to replace them so quickly from all the practice.
After only buying nissan and bmw for decades i gave chrysler another chance.
Got a 43,000.00 dollar jeep sahara unlimited.
Not only did they build it with the painted fender flares on one side and the rubberized flairs on the other but getting mis-designed heads too is pathetic workmanship.
Many including myself are plagued with roof leaks too.
i bet they couldnt do any worse. it may actually be a step in the right direction.
it was no manufacturing defect either , the 2nd revision of the head version b failed too. the one now is version c.
