I've lived in hyde park for 2 years now. I've come to realize I'll never meet women the places I go on the weekend, meaning bars or my friends' houses. I dont own a dog so Ault Park is out. I cant really understand how people say hyde park Kroger is a great place to meet people, unless I just go at the wrong times.

Just wondered where are some legitimate places to meet women in Cincy.

Most of the bars in Hyde park seem like they are filled with groups of people meeting other groups of people who all seem to know each other from work or college days. (Andy, who went to college with Beth, meets Jennifer who works at P&G with Beth and they end up drunk and exchanging numbers on their blackberrys outside of RP McMurphy's....blah blah blah.)

I think women who frequent more upscale bar/grill places in Hyde Park tend to play it safe and only like to meet friends of friends. You might find women who are more approachable if you go to pubs in a less trendy area where people tend to let their hair down a little more. Even if the place is cheesy like Millions in Mt. Lookout, Beer Sellar on the river or Cadillac Ranch downtown, you will probably find girls who are much more fun than if you are sitting next to a huddle of North Face jackets gossiping in a booth at any given HP/Oakley pub.

Get four new male friends and try to be a good friend. Their wives and girlfriends will take care of the rest.

Hell, just go out with me sometime! I'm married and I have no trouble meeting new women!

... (obviously for friendship reasons).

I've thought about all those sports leagues and stuff. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I think I'm too accepting of those cheesey bars on the weekends mentioned above.

I'm 25 and it seems like most females in my age range would be at a bar on a typical night. I've actually thought outside the box and thought of cooking classes or something.
