Hottest City?

Orlando Or Phoenix?

This is not just a heat or weather thread, I thought it would be interesting to compare heat since both cities are hot as well as other meaning of the word heat since both cities qualify as well.

Hot can be:

Heat -Having a high temperature
Up To Date - Absolutely new; fresh
Sexy - Visually appealing

My thoughts

Heat- Orlando only because of humidity.

took this yesterday. Now granted this was when I first cranked the car So this was the AT THE MOMENT HEAD INDEX. Temperature where I was was about 95 If you do not move It truly is a scorcher especially with humidity.

Also gave Orlando the vote because of the electricity in the air! unbeatable.

Up To Date - Orlando because it is a newer city. new projects, fresh looking buildings downtown.

Visually Appealing - I have never been to Phoenix so I can't say. I have to say that skyline wise I like Orlando's architecture.

I have seen Phoenix from pictures, only reason I would choose Orlando is the overall natural scenery. Not that Phoenix has none, I rather have green vegetation, palm trees and lakes over desert like foliage.

Hotter- Phoenix
Humid- Orlando

Everything else, subjective. We can expect great things from both, America's 5th largest city and from America's most toured city (on certain years).

Haha no, Houston's 4th. Phoenix is 5th. (Right now, I have heard Philadelphia had a population gain, so I don't know how that will affect Phoenix by 2010 census)

Well it will always be quite Interesting to see. I remember at a time Phoenix and Orlando were some of the fastest growing metros in the country. "HOTBEDS" for relocation.

Phoenix is hotter though Orlando sometimes feels hotter because of the humidity at certain times of the year.
