Makes sense; though isnt the science museum in Cambridge? or maybe not but really close

The Charles is very scenic (not so much the area directly around the science center) but I have had quite a few meetings at Genzyme (55 Cambridge Pkwy) in rooms that look out on to the Charles and Boston; quite distracting but an amazing view

In all honesty though D.C.... this is what your densest areas look like... this is sub par...

We have plenty of streets that answer to your "canyons"

but you have nothing that answers to this...

Or this...

So sure... you have canyons... but ours are 10 times taller.

I temped at a building that looked out across the Charles at Back Bay - incredible views. That was the awesome thing about temping in Boston, I got to work in some amazing locations around downtown (Financial District, Kendall Square, South Waterfront). Of course the downside was for a year I also had to work right around Government Center (even worse - it was for the state gov't).

It looks like it is attached by land to Cambridge, technically.

Though in all honesty it really doesnt matter, Kendall Sq especially is so close and closely aligned with DT Boston it is only semantics.

With everything that is going on in downtown from shopping, retail, and new residential construction, do you really want to say that? The shopping in downtown DC is about to blow center city away. What celebrity chef isn't opening a restaurant in DC these days? There is such a huge international interest in DC now it's going to be a shadow of its former self.

I agree with that - I would count the Science Museum as being part of DT Boston.
