Los Angeles' core has areas that are suburban in character. DC's core does not have such areas. Boston's core does not have such areas. Philly's core does not have such areas. San Francisco's core does not have such areas. It's hard to claim the mantle of "most urban city" when your core has streets that look like they could be in Cerritos.
I know Cerritos pretty well, so I am in earnest curious which parts of L.A.'s core you think look like it.
What on earth are you even talking about anymore? I'm really confused
He's been holding a grudge because I stated the obvious (the race relations in the Bay Area are less hostile than they are in NYC/Philly/DC). It's just another case of him being mad that nobody agrees with him.

Nope. I just exposed you as, at the very least, an ignorant hypocrite and at the very worst a flat out liar. But I'm not going to really pound on you about this anymore. I think you've suffered enough humiliation from this already.

Lol, and yet nobody in the thread you "exposed me" in agreed with you. In fact, they all stated exactly what I stated... race relations throughout the Bay Area differ.
The issue is not whether I've been to California or not.
The issue was that you said "New York is this..." and "New York is not that..."
and then admitted in the thread that you had not been there since you were six years old!
C'mon, man! Do you really deny doing that? Do I really need to pull out the quote for all to see?
Yes, the issue is exactly whether you've been to California or not. All the other east coast posters on this thread who've been to California have all said that the places you call "suburban-like" are not suburban at all.
And pull up the quote if you want... doesn't change that I was also there last summer.
