Dude Houston has over 400 high rise in over 600 sq mi. Atlanta has over 200 high rise in less than 150 sq mi. Houston does have more High rises but it’s not significant if Atlanta was over 600 sq mi Atlanta would be around over 400 high rise as well. That all of the city of Houston 600 sq mi not the inner loop. It’s the trees in Atlanta that block development that makes Metro Atlanta feel a lot smaller.
If all of Houston's business districts were combined, it would form the nations 3rd largest skyline after Chicago & New York, respectively.
Atlanta could include all of the buildings in the entire state of Georgia & it still wouldn't be anywhere close to Houston's metro area high rises which includes The Woodlands, Clear Lake, & Galveston.

And Atlanta has a mass transit system called MARTA something Houston can only dream of. Skycrapers play a very small part in a city having a big city feel.

I'm guessing you have never been to Houston if you think the high rises are spread out over 600 square miles. Anyone that has ever lived or visited Houston knows that all the high rises are concentrated in Downtown, Texas Medical Center, Uptown, and Greenway Plaza. All those districts are separated by a few miles.

Which gives Atlanta a more urban big city feel.. Houston feels larger driving thru it... I dont understand why Houston doesnt have a comparable Rail system being large as it is.
