Yeah. We only have 3 National Parks within 60 miles, two glorious mountain ranges to either side, The San Juan Islands at our doorstep, skiing is an hour away, the Pacific Ocean close by, Puget Sound laps our waterfront, Lake WA on our eastern shore, Vancouver is just 2 hours away, Portland but 3, and wine country 3 hours.
Nothing to do around here. No happening places here.
Seriously, ask anyone who lives in Seattle if they feel isolated. That's freaking hilarious.
Well, it's relative. Washington state is larger in land area than Florida. Yet it has about the population of Massachusetts. Oregon is even more disparate than that.
It could be that the natural attributes of the region (which are significant) make up for the lack of people, for some. To me, it spells vacation spot.
John you must hate the ocean living in Atlanta and all. You see John, the ocean is a very relaxing place and what can beat Miami? Party on the beach, blue and beautiful glowing waters, the hottest and most attractive men and women in the country, for the splendid sunny weather almost year round with some of the best mixes of international culture there is.
Atlanta and Seattle? One is a greased up deep southern city with unimpressive topography, obese fried food eaters, and thugs making hip hop videos every street intersection with their hydrolic pumped cars and the other is a POS tree hugging, heroin induced, gloomy weathered, isolated dump.
Seattle has an urban core and scenery but so does SF, so why go to Seattle in the west? I live in NY John, and Miami is where most of us from the NE like to grace our presence.
Get out more. Seriously. And whatever you do, don't make a wrong turn in Miami.
Ya I think I'll take Miami over Seattle even with the "violent crime", wonder what sort of wuss freaks over visiting a city because it has a few bad neighborhoods but hey I suppose you tree huggers in Seattle just aren't used to seeing both sides of the world, wealth and prosperity with poverty. Other great cities with high crime are DC, Chicago, Philly any of those bad cities? No
Gloomy depressive weather versus sunny and tolerable with some humidity? Easy choice. Being close to other cities and large bulk of the country's population against isolation? Easy choice again. Clear white sand beaches to Seattle? Easy choice. Miami's nightlife destroys Seattle's, Miami's night scene is considerably more attractive than Seattle's where people don't even take a second look in the mirror to see what they dress up as.
Have you been to Miami? If not, you should see it. Its amazing
You would be living in proverty just like majority of the residence are lol. Just dont bring your Rats from your basment apartment in NYC with you when you come to Miami
