Some places where people don't think they have an accent, but do:

Columbus
Cincinnati
Indianapolis
D.C.
Pittsburgh
The blacks in DC have a distinct accent. Saying things like the curry out instead of carry out.

As someone else posted, Colorado (and most of the rest of the northern Great Plains and West) has no "distinct accent", as far as other Americans are concerned. We just have a very clear American accent.

This guy's from Omaha Nebraska. He sounds really neutral.

Sorry, yes, that's true. That's true for most U.S. cities I've been to as well. However, when speaking of accents I guess I'm referring to the blue-collar, middle-class accents of that segment of the population -- the lesser-educated population that don't care how they talk or whether it's "proper". If they aren't black or from another country they can all be susceptible to a regional accent (black people can too, but it's less common).

I'm going to agree and say he has an accent, and I'm from Chicago. That's very far from what I'd call neutral. It's pretty nasaly.
