another thing that sets the St Paul/Minneapolis market apart from the rest, is that they have scientists that regularly come on and predict what the weather is going to be up to a week or more in advance!

I don't know if they still have it, but Philly's news used to have a regular mob segment, highlighting south Philly based Mafia news and what not. It irks me that something like that gets that level of publicity and glamorization.

A meteorologist (weatherman) is a scientisit!

Back in the 80s our station was called Eyewitness news and a station in Houston is called Eyewitness news.

The fox station here in Cleveland does that too. I'd bet a lot of Fox stations do this for publicity. Is Miami's 7 Fox?
