Anyone who says blacks are treated better on the East are instantly discredited in my eyes and are just probably looking at the lower-income, swagged-up, thugged-out, stereotypical blacks. The East Coast is definitely better for those groups, but blacks who refuse to play the "black script" are ridiculed out in the East Coast and are better off out West. Hell, the South would be better for non-stereotypical blacks than the East Coast.

Are you implying that the only type of black folks that can fit in on the East Coast are stereotypical black thugs? You're telling me that all the successful black people in Maryland, NY, D.C., and the southeastern states need to be black thugs?

Grat information nei! A black man in Oakland is almost twice as likely to be murdered as a black man in Chicago. Although both rates are terrible, we see how Oakland is taken to a whole other level of violence within the black community. It would be amazing if you could get the statistics for other California cities such as SF, Long Beach, Richmond, Compton, etc.

Here is an article from 2006 which states that the murder rate among African Americans is twice as high as the murder rate among African Americans in Oakland.

So by your numbers, we could assume that the murder rate among blacks in SF could consistently be around 100 per 100,000 people. I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers for Richmond, Compton and other California cities showed sky high murder rates among blacks either.

West for asians and hispanics and the south for blacks. Black people are not fleeing every other region of the country in droves for the south for no reason.
Ask a black transplant living in Atlanta from LA Denver or Chicago which place is more racist, segregated or hostile towards black people and the answer will almost never be Atlanta, same thing for nashville, charlotte, raleigh, houston, or even memphis.
Its 2013 folks.

Seems like the west isn't real much of a place to be unlike the south or possibly northeast.

13 Colonies which were free blacks which alot was establishing and some were poor latter days The other region was the South, Virginia too East Texas.

I thought this was an interesting thread for someone to have brought back from 2013.

So I looked up some recent stats. These are stats with data from 2011-2015: https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tan...arriage-rates/

Interestingly, around 1 in 5 marriages between thirty-somethings is interracial. Looks like interracial couples are more common along the Pacific coast, and the "sunbelt states" more broadly. They are least common in the Deep South and the Southern Midwest.

The east coast isn't mentioned in this study.

Nor did I dig up any analysis of the other criteria mentioned in the original post, this was my quick 5 minute web search results...
