I think the Midwest has some of the best architecture in the United States. Go to places like the Twin Cities, St. Louis, and Cleveland, and of course Detroit and Chicago, to see some great architecture.
Most of those look like the Crypt Keeper is designing them or something. YUCK. Our cities really do look like crap. The south is kinda of charming, but it can be to much to the point where it looks generic or like a trip back to the eighteen hundreds. I mean nobody actually wants to go back to the eighteen hundreds do they? The northern cities like Philadelphia and stuff are butt ugly. They seriously look cursed or something.

Let me guess, youre a fan of Wal-Mart/Taco Bell/Home Depot "architecture", arent you. What a foolish statement IMO.
Santa Fe is probably my favorite if I had to pick one. I like Adobe because its actually different. Its not the same old world European Gothic crap that looks nasty most of the time. I don't like most of the European architecture I see. That crap is from the middle ages. It looks decrepit. I do like Cape Cod craftsmen type stuff though and some of Seattle's modern architecture.
Detroit, one of the largest group of pre ww2 skyscrapers. Chicago the city of modern scrapers. and NY.
