Agreed, I remember visiting Chicago one time and we drove through a neighborhood in Southside. It looked incredibly gritty/scary. Found out later, it was considered one of the "safest" of Southside

It's probably either North Philly or Southside Chicago. I'm sure there are stats out there, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were nearly the same, since Chicago is overall slightly safer than Philadelphia, but the stats are close to one another.
