Dallas had one shooting death but it was ruled accidental.

Quote:
A man who was accidentally shot in the face by his friend early Saturday morning has died from his injuries, according to police. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Joshua Brown of Abilene.
The suspect, 28, was at a home at 10162 Baronne Circle drinking with other people when he picked up a hand gun and accidentally shot his friend.
He called 911 and remained at the scene of the shooting. He was not arrested.
also had a couple of shootings, and some cuttings.

we get a murder every year on the first day of the year. at least i would think so because its usually a huge party all over the city, massive amounts of parties and hanging out and plenty of trigger happy people walking the streets. so in a city of 8 million a couple guns will go off.

probably not & no, they usually get filed under injured person or agg. assault at the end of the year, same as manslaughter.
