Detroit just had its first one on Jan. 7th, at least according to how the article was worded, that it was the first fatal shooting of the year. Unless there has been a murder by other means, this is the first murder in Detroit. The article also mentioned that there were 308 total murders in 2010, down from 364 in 2009. Maybe a lot of the thugs from Detroit are moving to Atlanta.
