When I listed the above cities I listed them because some of them I thought would be close if not the same as Atlanta.
As it turns out I was right.Raleigh, and Orlando I thought were about right,Not surprised but I am surprised by Jacksonville and little ole Charlotte.
Turns out Charlotte does have more than Miami after all.Charlotte has a significant high tech sector with all its bank so I can see that over Miami which has a very small sector
So predictable that Miami had no votes after all the other cities at least had one .As soon as I make note of that fact Miami now has 3 votes.
When in reality its next to dead last out of these cities in percentage of Asians.
Yes, all have a much larger presence than Miami which is last in terms of the large metros. South Florida, in terms of its Asian population, is basically the half-step below that's between the large metros and the next tier down of smaller ones. If going by CSA, I believe that further cements DC as notably above the others the next tier down.
One thing to note is that these are relatively small drops when you consider the size of the population and other demographics and the massive drop between these and Northern American Asian population sizes found in the LA, NYC, Toronto, the Bay Area and Vancouver where the difference between population sizes in this tier can be virtually the same size or greater as the entirety of the Asian population in these metros (save for DC).
Charlotte has the higher percentage, but it doesn't have the numbers to make it's Asian population any more noticeable than Miami/South Florida. I've been to both metros. Charlotte has a few Asian strip-malls, but nothing real noticeable.

In ra numbers yes but Atlanta and Miami have near the same population So percentage wise its a significant difference.
As I stated in the other thread,Atlanta has several communities in its metro with over 20% Asian.
So while the metros by percentage seems similar, its just not the same in visible population or impact culturlly.
Anybody voting for Miami is just playing homerism
