Tampa by a landslide. I found people in Orlando to be miserable, and the city itself is extremely bland and sprawly. I think Tampa metro is more well rounded with a lot more to do and see...
Meh. Typical "McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Walmart" small towns that are economic/cultural laggards to the larger cities. Hot/humid summers and tornado alley location are also personal negatives. Idabel has a casino, but I don't gamble and if it gets any entertainers, I'll bet its D-listers or locals who probably only make it as far as Oklahoma City or Tulsa. It's grid is also larger, but it never quite built itself to its full potential, and a county fair/rodeo is all that passes for entertainment. Can I at least have the Atlanta in GA instead? In fact, when I look it up on Google Maps, I come up with the Midtown Atlanta, GA skyline instead as a photo! Well, I'd take this Atlanta since TX is a slightly more progressive state and there's an Italian restaurant and Catholic church in the heart of town, but otherwise, I'd be bored before long and would be negatively contributing to our planet's carbon footprint just to travel to larger cities/airports, as over 2 1/2 hours to Dallas is a full tank of fuel and almost half a day wasted just to get access to big city amenities.
The Castro, San Francisco or Washington Square West, Philadelphia?

The Castro, San Francisco or Washington Square West, Philadelphia?
Washington Square West, which I called home from 1983 to 2011. The first "gayborhood" in the country to be referred to using that term (in a 1991 Philadelphia CityPaper article on that year's first Outfest, which takes place there), it's mellower than the Castro, more affordable than the Castro, and not full of smug, full-of-themselves San Franciscans like the Castro is.
Knoxville, TN. Closer to the kinds of food that I like.
Grand Rapids, MI or Honolulu,HI?
Grand Rapids, hands down. Nice small to medium metro. Honolulu is great for visiting, but I would hate living somewhere so isolated and so expensive. I'd also miss having 4 seasons.
Greensboro/Winston, NC metro or Scranton/Wilkes Barre, PA metro?

That's fair. I still say that Michigan is the most beautiful state that I've been to, but I also love Honolulu and am dying to return there to live in less than two years (most likely).
Greensboro/Winston, NC. Again, due to having more of my kind of food on standby

Annapolis, MD or Newport, RI?
You and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to food for sure, lol.
Annapolis. I lived in New England and liked it in many ways. But I'd much rather be farther south. Ocean water is warmer and it's more affordable.
Milwaukee, WI or St. Louis, MO?
