I love New Mexico, but these aren't exactly the most desirable parts of a very desirable state for me.
I've actually been through both. I recall Deming feeling very isolated and arid - though I do like its proximity to Las Cruces, El Paso, and Mexico. I don't recall anything specific about Gallup, but I know it has serious problems with poverty as it has a very high Native American population. I guess I'll go with Deming because below freezing temps are a rare occurrence there.
Minneapolis because it seems to be similar to cities I really enjoy, Seattle and Denver for example.
Seattle, WA or Denver, CO?
Denver. I might like Seattle being a couple hours from Vancouver, but realistically, most people aren't going to make a three hour road trip one way more than a few times a year. At that point, might as well fly, if you're single.
I want the more central location and skiing of Denver.
I don’t know anything about either town, specifically; I’m tempted to go with Sandersville as I’m more familiar with that general area, and nearby Milledgeville is a very desirable town.
But I’ll pick Winnfield. I really like Louisiana culture.

Minneapolis. Though it's very cold, I still prefer it to the climate of the PNW.
Greenville, SC or Grand Rapids, MI?
