I love New Mexico, but these aren't exactly the most desirable parts of a very desirable state for me.

I've actually been through both. I recall Deming feeling very isolated and arid - though I do like its proximity to Las Cruces, El Paso, and Mexico. I don't recall anything specific about Gallup, but I know it has serious problems with poverty as it has a very high Native American population. I guess I'll go with Deming because below freezing temps are a rare occurrence there.

Houston or New Orleans?

Chicago. Winters aren't as cold. It's a tad more affordable and a bigger bang for your buck.

Pittsburgh, PA or Milwaukee, WI?

Greenfield. Would rather live near Milwaukee than Hartford. Winfield, LA or Sandersville, GA?

Denver. I might like Seattle being a couple hours from Vancouver, but realistically, most people aren't going to make a three hour road trip one way more than a few times a year. At that point, might as well fly, if you're single.

I want the more central location and skiing of Denver.

SLC or OKC?

I don’t know anything about either town, specifically; I’m tempted to go with Sandersville as I’m more familiar with that general area, and nearby Milledgeville is a very desirable town.

But I’ll pick Winnfield. I really like Louisiana culture.

Neither are my cup of tea, but the mountain scenery gives Salt Lake City the advantage.

Oklahoma City or Norman?

Norman. Although I'm more of a Stillwater guy. If I'm in okie its going to be either Tulsa or a college town.

Minneapolis. Though it's very cold, I still prefer it to the climate of the PNW.

Greenville, SC or Grand Rapids, MI?
