Tough one, but I'd probably go for Santa Monica. Miami has great beaches (and beautiful women) but too much of a "scene". And I prefer CA to FL in general.

Grand Rapids or Albany?
Albany. I don't know all that much about Grand Rapids, but I do know that I prefer Upstate NY to Michigan and all the NE has to offer compared to the Midwest.

I'm not much of a Jersey guy but I wouldn't say no to Cape May being right on the ocean with a better climate than Chicagoland.
