I've never been to TX, so I don't know anything about FW. But I think Ohio is underestimated in many respects, so I'll go with Dayton.

Lancaster, PA or Kalamazoo, MI?

Definitely Lancaster. Kalz is not the best part of Michigan.

Tacoma, WA or Providence, RI?

Birmingham. More affordable and a nice medium sized metro. Plus, not a big fan of NJ. Never had good experiences there.

Las Cruces, NM or Boise, ID?

Never been to either but I've always thought I would like Boise a lot so that's my pick. Plus it is a larger metro (although smaller CSA so more like a push)

Akron, OH v Wichita, KS

Akron OH. Seems like a more interesting city.

Boise ID or Winston-Salem NC?

Winston-Salem... Slightly warmer winters, more diverse, and I prefer its regional location (Boise is a bit isolated from many other places).

Myrtle Beach, SC or Pensacola, FL?

Pensacola. Myrtle Beach had too much riff raff for me.

Madison, WI or Birmingham, AL?

Birmingham. Though Madison looks like a great city I generally prefer the SE over the MW for many reasons.

Lafayette LA or Mobile AL

Mobile. Like its location. Been through there before and liked what I saw.

Knoxville, TN or Athens, GA?
