Tulsa OK or Lexington KY
Lexington. Tulsa is definitely underrated, but I think Lexington offers you more for its size overall. Both are good though.
Cape May, NJ or Wilmington, NC?

Cape May NJ. NJ is a better state overall than NC, and I find the people more down-to-earth and level-headed than Wilmington.
Evanston IL or Somerville MA?

Somerville. More down-to-earth than Evanston, and Davis Square beats anything I've seen in the Chicago suburb.
Independence, Mo., or Carmel, Ind.?

Fort Wayne... larger city/metro and it gets far less snow.

Close call, but I will choose the underdog. Erie has potential given its location and natural beauty.
Chattanooga, TN or Birmingham, AL?

Wichita. It was mentioned in that White Stripes song so it must have something going on.

Nashville wins. The city is much more affordable and has more diversity. Nashville is totally transforming into something great.
Anderson, SC or Maryville, TN?

Anderson since SC is a slightly more moderate state than TN is. That said, it really isn't too much better quite honestly. I hate the low pay, long distance from a large city, lack of big city amenities, lack of diversity, and hot summers TBH. But IRL, hard pass on both.
Barclay, NJ or Monterey Park, CA?
