But you could say the same for anything.
Is nyc or dc really rude?

Smiling and then talking behind someones back is pretty awful.
Thats beyond fake.

Ive see many people from the south admit to this happening often.

Its also a more judgemental place. La is the least judgemental place ive been in.

People talk about other people in their absence everywhere; making this out to be a Southern thing is just asinine. And when it happens, it's usually not anything sinister like you're making it out to be.

Again, in the South, it's just common courtesy to speak to people. You think it's horrible. It's just a matter of perception.

Why not split the difference? ATL is more friendly and LA is less judgmental. I think we could all agree on that.

Your posts come off as if you have an ax to grind against the South and using our posts to air your grievances about your time there. Enjoy your time in LA, and keep it moving. Different strokes for different folks.

Well, youre wrong.

I just took offense to the passive agressive comment towards la.

And i was talking about la people not speaking to people, which i dont personally see anyway.

Their might be some fakeness, but its not a "cold" city.

The "fake nice" of the south is well documented here and on other sites.

I couldn't care less about you being 'offended,' grow up. Besides, I never said that LA was "cold," and that people are friendly, but they can be passive aggressive. Just as the "fake nice" in the south has been "well documented," so has the passive aggressiveness of West Coasters.
