Seeing that one street, surprised me. Guess looking at that street and others, just goes to show the Bronx can have more of a suburban feel in places(especially Riverdale), than I would've guessed at first glance! And for sure on this question the OP asked for this thread, I'd say Brooklyn feels more urban.

SF and Philadelphia are both dense, urban cities and Philadelphia has a lot of commonalities with NYC due to similar climates and developing in the same time periods.


I will say that SF's density is only something like 10% less dense than Queens on the whole, but it bears mentioning that Queens covers a 109 square mile land area while San Francisco covers 47 square miles, so if you were to take the denser contiguous 47 square miles of Western/Central Queens, you actually have a much denser 47 square miles than SF proper.
