Houston's Caribbean options are behind that of DC which are (way) behind that of Miami.
I'm not sure where Atlanta fits in this picture, but it's somewhere around that of Houston, maybe a bit stronger due to all the Miami transplants that live in that city.
No it isnt. Atlanta's Caribbean population is a lot larger than Houston's except for Cubans which Houston has a lot more of. Atlanta gets way more transplants from New York and Im sure thats part of it.
Atlanta's Jamaican and Haitian populations are between 5-7x larger than Houston's.

No. That's stretch. We're talking about black Caribbean.

Also, Greater Houston is adding more Asian food options with the Katy Asian Town development.
Its nice for the people out there, but its going to be hard to compete with whats on Bellaire for those of us in the city. My one beef with Houston is Korean and Japanese food. It is subpar. Houston does have exceptional Chinese and Vietnamese food of course. Houston also has good Thai, Malaysian, and Indonesian food. Houston has one decent Japanese spot with Izakaya Wa, but we need more!
