Link? I'd like to see this number for all cities, particularly for major cities that don't meet the 500K municipal population threshold.

I'd be interested to see these numbers by metro area (or urban area), since the city borders tends to skew things and a lot of each metro's higher educated pop lives in suburbs that likely are not being counted.

This is for cities that are 500k + population. That's why you don't see cities like Atlanta, Richmond or Raleigh on the list. They probably all have decent #'s.

San Antonio seems to be coming up. A hell of a future ahead for that city. It's probably the next Austin.

Regarding Milwaukee...there is a huge gap in educational attainment between whites and African Americans. My guess, is that the "loss" would be due to residents moving to the suburbs. Overall, Wisconsin college graduation rate for whites is 45%, and for African Americans, it's 22%. The highest percentage of African Americans in Wisconsin, live in Milwaukee...hence, the little bit lower rating. I hope this post isn't considered racist, as these numbers come from a study, and are the valid reason for the rankings.

Statistically, Milwaukee is the worst large city for African Americans so I'm not surprised.
