NY is undoubtedly the fastest paced city in the country. What are the other fast paced cities in the country after NYC? For example if someone who has never been to the US were to be dropped off in the middle of this city it would feel fast paced to them.

Never been to SF, but i hear it's pretty fast paced, faster than LA even, but is it comparable to the East Coast cities pace like DC, Philly, and Boston?
I spent many years in DC and it's no faster paced than Cleveland.
I also think Lincoln Nebraska is faster paced than DC. Seriously, how long ago were you in DC and are you referring to a suburb of DC that's over 40 miles away from DC proper??
Maybe I am just incrediably dense. But are people talking in a literal sense (how fast do they talk and walk.) I always assume "fast pace" is figurative, more of a how busy and crowded is a city?
