Dang now we have to sign autographs.. this is tough.
But in all seriousness, its a fun forum. Very insightful.. learned a lot about places I didnt even know existed.
For the record to answer the author of the VICE article's question.. Boston. Boston is king!
Other people's interests are nerdy and pointless. Ours are cool and important!
Honestly, debating NFL draft prospects is extremely popular (for good reason!), but far less important. Some people debate which MOVIES are better, of all things.
I think this is the best website to learn about all the different cities. It's even more informative and interesting than reading about a city or state in an encyclopedia, including Wikipedia. And so many topics to choose from. It's a great time killer without the guilt of wasting time.
I very much appreciate this recognition for city-data, too. One thing that originally attracted me to city-data forums was the moderation, meaning the fact that the owners of the forums really want things to stay civil and informative. I love that we can help each other and share information and opinions without fear of internet trolls, cyberbullies, and name calling. Yes, I know some of that slips by, but by and large the posters here at the General U.S. and City vs City forums do a great job of keeping things informational and even entertaining but without all that childishness. There are other internet forums, whose names will not be mentioned, that are like the Wild West compared to city-data. It's always refreshing to me to return to city-data after I've been elsewhere. I very much appreciate all you posters who help make City vs City such a fun and, now, recognized forum. I hope it will be around for many, many years.
