Almost an even divide between Whites, Asians, and Hispanics. I can't think of any other metro that comes close to that.
Agreed. I also can think of no other area where minorities and immigrants are more prominent and empowered to succeed, than the Bay Area. Nowhere is perfect but as a minority, I appreciate that immensely.

That may be true but minorities are not represented well at the executive levels. Blacks are severely underrepresented in tech in general and especially leadership ranks. Progress is slow...

I don’t think that’s true at all for the Bay Area. At all. People with privilege get to succeed. What other metro area has kicked out black people the way the Bay Area has?

This is largely hyperbolic nonsense.
Blacks in the Bay Area are better off and more highly educated then their counterparts elsewhere. We know that from data.
Do I lament the fact that tens of thousands of Black households have chosen to move to the Central Valley? Absolutely, but who are we to demand that someone cant sell their 2bd bungalow in East Oakland for $600,000 and buy a new, huge house in a new development 60 miles away?
And in case you havent noticed, Blacks are leaving the West and North-yet we get singled out?
Ive looked at the data, there are nearly 1 million Blacks(alone o multiracial) in the NorCal megalopolis. Yes many have left the area, but the vast majority simply moved inland.
Otherwise, I stand by my statement.
