Wow, something besides North vs. South. Thank you. I vote for Saint Louis.

How about the Santa (holy) cities? Or the Fort cities?

Having lived in 3 of the listed cities (San Diego, San Antonio, and Saint Louis), I can say that all are fine cities.

San Diego:
I currently live here and love it. Weather is awesome, very scenic, lots of outdoors activities year-round. Significant portion of the population is highly educated. Lots of Asians. Several distinct neighborhoods with their own 'vibe'. Unfortunately, the cost of living is ridiculously high. Lots of young adults who will likely move away to start families or for a better job (salary rate is actually not that good here when factoring in cost-of-living and taxes).

San Antonio:
Spent most of my childhood here and I consider it to be my 'home'. Very underrated and overlooked city IMO. Very similar to San Diego (except for the beach/weather, of course) in that there are military bases in/around the city, strong tourism sector, laid back people, lots of retirees, and healthcare and biomedical research. Except that things are actually affordable.

St. Louis
I haven't lived in StL -- actually, one of the suburbs -- since I was a young child, but I have many fond memories of the place. I loved going to the Arch and Cardinals baseball games. And don't forget the snow.

That's a great idea. You should start a Fort poll. I would do it but I'm too lazy.

As befitting of their history, I think the New Orleans Saints would lose a game against all of them.
