We know SF area is the home of Black Panther Party, Hippies, 420 movement, Gay rights, Freedom of speech, Anti-war, sexual revolution, counter culture, anti-establishment, women's rights. etc...but what other city comes in 2nd for post mentioned?

Questionable whether SF is the home of “freedom of speech” and “women’s rights” or a number of the other things you listed.

I’d say Seattle has earned its counter-culture stripes over the decades with everything from Jimi Hendrix, the Grunge movement, all the way to WTO protests and CHOP

I would argue that freedom of speech is not a pillar of modern leftism
