From what I'm seeing, Tomahawk averages highs 2 to 4 degrees cooler than the Twin Cities from Jan to Feb. Tomahawk's average temps are very similar to St. Cloud MN which is 65 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.

Yeah, sounds about right, the areas in Wisconsin colder than Tomahawk are Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, all with elevations of over 1,600 ft.
