To elaborate I claim D.C as one of the top 5 "coolest" cities....Refering to D.C and Washington because it seems Washington is represented by politics and Type A's....D.C is what the world doesnt know about has the coolest natives (ppl from D.C) not residents (ppl who move to D.C)

My list based on the natives not buildings are

D.C
ATL
NYC
CHI
N.O
PHI
Memphis

You're a boring town.

P.S. SJ is only 50.6% male among people over 18. Your "Man Jose" joke that you beat into the ground (twice in two sentences) is not only unfunny, but an extreme exaggeration.

Ofcourse there are other cities that could be listed, but these are cities that one could call "Cool" and I wouldn't question myself.
Updated list:
San Francisco
New York
District of Columbia
Los Angeles
Seattle
Boston
Portland
Chicago
Dallas-Fort Worth

Removed Minneapolis as Los Angeles is by far a cooler city. Minneapolis ( known by others as Murderapolis) is a city of crime.

I think Savannah, Charleston, and New Orleans have a charm and identity unique and unbelievable; due to thier size are often under-represented and under appreciated. For their size they pack a punch on par with anywhere and should be appreciated and cherished as true American jewels!

Savannah belongs in the group of five " Las Vegas , New Orleans ,
Charcleston SC , Key West Florida , Savannah GA" and ATL'ian don't
flip-out on me , but I think that Savannah is cooler than ATL (it's just
not A IT City) or (A Really Hot "WOW" City) what makes Savannah
so fantastic is the Architecture in the city and cool laid back vibe. The
cities with the really small Metro's get over looked a lot of times...
Key West , Charcleston and Savannah and I could add Columbia SC
it's 750,000 Metro of a sort of smallish city..big college town that has
some really nice architecture in it to.We could put those cities in a top
25 ranking they just are to smallish now.

By the way, IMHO DC might be cool from a distance or for a visitor, not if you live there.
