I really didn't find St. Louis that great, besides the Arch. Reminds me so much like driving out of the Fort Pitt Tunnel in Pittsburgh and the skyline just hitting you... Cincinnati driving around Cut-in-the-Hill is awesome! Cincinnati has a nice mix of modern/classic in its skyline, and when it lights up, it is something else!
Whatever of these cities you might choose, it's not a city that has a well-known skyline. St. Louis has the Arch, but otherwise...... Chicago in the Midwest, New York in the East, and then, perhaps, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle and Miami. Otherwise, my guess is, the world doesn't care.
Indianapolis grew 15.16% census to census followed by CBus at 13% census to census. The next 10 years may be a different story but as of now, it grew the fastest. Just as Indiana was the fastest growing state in the MW census to census.
Um....I know that this little gem was buried, and I hate to even bring it up (for fear of flame war), but....

Miami isn't iconic IMO and Seattle is severely overrated, especially lately! And, you're right....the world doesn't care outside of NYC and Chicago. Thanks for your pessimistic view on the Midwest!
...then why is it the only city rated lower than Indianapolis in the poll?
This is what happens when people vote on skylines that they haven't seen in person. This is why I have no opinion about the ones in STL, KC or the Twin Cities. Furthermore, Columbus' skyline is so spread out, that is very difficult to get a pic of the entire skyline. Instead, we get ridiculous pics like the one toxic posted earlier.
There is no use in arguing with them...everyone knows Indiana was the fastest-growing state in the Midwest (if you ignore all other Midwestern states) and Indianapolis was the fastest-growing city and metro area in the Midwest (if you ignore all other fast-growing cities and metros in the Midwest). Argue otherwise and they'll claim you don't know how to do math, or that we should ignore metro areas < 1,000,000 people because those don't count.

Yeah, I guess I should have learned in a similar thread that there's no beating the homerism of some of the Indy folks with *gasp* FACTS!
