Not true! Iowa has some of the highest rated schools in the nation, highest graduation rates and is always among the top 5 when it comes to ACT & SAT scores, but of all the states I've lived in, Iowans have some of the worst grammar I've ever heard, even among educated people. E.g., I ain't, she don't, them ones, you was, where's it at,...etc.

Are you sure? I lived there for 22 years and people were always uptight about grammar. Compared to everywhere else I've been, Iowa was around the top as far as correct usage.
