This is a VERY typical response for her. When someone points out something about her area she can't wrap her head around, she always trots out the "it's obvious you have never been to NYC" crap.

So predictable........

And as you can see, I'm going to Greece and Turkey in 2 weeks Last year I went to Puerto Rico and Bermuda. Ask nycricanpapi, I talked about my PR trip with him
Your posts about other areas indicate a severe lack of knowledge of areas outside of NY. Many people have said this to you already. Having an opinion about somewhere is one thing, but you try to pass off yours as a fact

Anyone can SAY on an internet thread that they have been to other places, but in their posts we can tell who is well traveled

Believe whatever you want. I wouldn't waste my time making up lies about where I've been.

You should also look up the definition of the term "redneck."

It refers to hardworking individuals engaged in labor outdoors where the get sunburn on their necks. This term has become a derogatory term from certain media outlets who think that they can manipulate the English language. In the classic and true definition therefore, NY, TX and anyplace else has "rednecks" unless there is no road construction or other outdoor type jobs.

Pictures do not prove your point. The fact is that there are rednecks everywhere in the US. I tend to use the non derogatory definition and you like to use it to insult many people

No one uses the non-derogatory definition...lol. Maybe they used it in 1900, but not today.

Many people do, you just choose to hang around with a psuedo elitist crowd

Nope, everywhere I've gone they use the derogatory term. Even my friends from Little Rock and Georgia.

The point is, not everyone chooses to use that term as an insulting one. Of course you can find some people, more likely of lower intellect that blindly throw the term out as a blanket to cover whole regions without looking at the individual. This is what I do and maybe you should open up your mind and judge the individual instead of relying on the stereotype
