Never said it wasn't. I just said it starting to become an afterthought there and people are now just going to non-denominational which is not Evangelican Protestant or just simply Catholic.
What evidence is there to support this trend you're saying is happening in Texas?

Don't have a link or evidence. Just going through an observation. I've seen many in Texas switching to non-denominational. It's evident when you are in the bigger cities as the small baptist churches are basically empty or even a quarter full while the non denominational churches are full to capacity.
BTW, Texas is now 32% Catholic and since it's 32% Catholic...

Most megachurches--of which there are a ton in Texas--are actually affiliated with some sort of denomination. For instance, Second Baptist in Houston, a pretty huge church, is...well... Southern Baptist. But many are of the Charismatic/Pentecostal variety and not affiliated with some of the traditional mainline Protestant churches, but still have some sort of denominational/organizational affiliation.

Could you give me an example? Because I don't believe Lakewood or Potter's House (similar churches starting to become more popular in more populated areas) is under any organization. I see that as just Christian. They see themselves as non-denomination. My Mother attends the largest church in the Killeen-Fort Hood area called Christian House of Prayer and it isn't under any organization. Strictly non denomination. Guess I'm confused on this one lol.

What that type of response necessary? We are adults, right? I never came at you like that.
If you took offense to my response that is your business...it wasn't meant to be offensive, but just to indicate that your answer was just what I thought it would be.
I can't comment on whether other people are adults...some on this site are under 18 years old, so they aren't adults. I do know that I am well past that age.

If the Christian House of Prayer isn't Evangelical Protestant, then I have no idea what IS...
"Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister..." we are always looking for opportunities to serve. This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship in the community. We look forward to serving you and pray that the Holy Spirit will bring you this way again."
