I think Minneapolis deserves a BIG nod of respect... Atmosphere, the most slept on MC DJ duo on the planet, basically built the hip hop Minni-po is known for... Just thought it was worth mentioning

Bay area over Chicago. I like both, but prefer the Bay Area over Chicago's scene.

I think anywhere you rank the Bay Area; Houston should be there to follow. In the mid 80s to early 90s. They sounded SO much alike.

NYC/Jersey/Philly Underground Hip-Hop, Florida Hip-Hop, & Los Angeles Hip-Hop are my absolute favorites. Talent really varies from person to person though.

Atlanta/ the whole South Ruined hip hop which is why I voted New York=(hip hop), Los Angeles( Gangsta rap/ G- Funk), and Chicago( Lupe Fiasco etc.) These cities artiist what is what I call rap/hip hop. Not the South crap. How can you be the best rapper (lil Wayne) when he only raps about girls majority of the time?
