Actually Bend, OR is pretty cool with a beautiful location in the high desert of Oregon with nice homes and properties, generally sunnier than the rest of the state, close to scenic volcanic peaks and excellent skiing at Mt. Bachellor where you can ski past a lava dome.

I'll let the next one get Mobile, had to make a correction about Bend since the previous poster clearly knew nothing about it and it's a pretty cool place.

I havent ever been to Elko but I have heard some things about it (Obviously more about Las Vegas though)
