Yeah ok, broadway is just so unpopular, lol. That's why there are tons of people who come to NY just to see the Broadway shows. I don't hear of people from outside of Texas going to Austin just for the night life and entertainment, lol.

Whoa.....It's usually the people outside of Texas who hype up the nightlife there. If you know Texas than you would known Texans overall prefer Houston and Dallas over it.

You wouldn't know though because you have never to most of America. Travel some before you make judgements on other places

Like several others have mentioned, some people just can't handle when their city is not #1 on everything (NYC)

I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of Austin, myself, but I can assure you that people come from all over the world to visit Austin's music/nightlife scene. It's not mainstream like NY. It's more underground.
The only point you're proving is how ignorant you are.

Educated and well-traveled people definitely are familiar with Austin and it's nightlife/music scene.

Have you ever heard of South by Southwest, Austin City Limits, or the Austin Film Festival?

Haha, I have traveled all over. I've experienced the nightlife in about 20 different major cities in the country, as well as in Athens, Mykonos, Hamilton (probably don't know where that is), Rincon (that one too). I'll take hanging out at the Foundation Room in Atlantic City with high-profile people over a dingy bar in Austin any day.

The answer would be a resounding NO.
