It is true that the areas have more control over Georgia politics than Atlanta, but it's not due to population. The 5 core counties of Metro Atlanta make up 60% of Georgia's population. However, Georgia has 159 counties and the Legislature is controlled by the rural counties because they have banded together against Sodom and Gomorrah, err, The City of Atlanta.
Partially due to the other edges of the core counties sides with the rural areas. The rural/urban divide is a big issue in state and national politics and explains a large number of differences.
Neither! If you want gay, go for san franisco. ATL & Chi are the realest cities out there. GAY? not really. Try putting one of those homos in bankhead or englewood. LOL

Apparently what you know about the gay communities in either city could fill a thimble. Ever been on Chicago's N. Halsted? Atlanta's 10th St.? Both as gay as a pink hairnet.

Bankhead cant really compare to Englewood my dude, Bankhead isnt even the worst neighborhood on the westside, its just the most well known. But I feel what u saying though. The gay community here is pretty much found in about 3-4 specific areas.

But yea, i would like to see someone post of video of a homosexual couple asking for directions in englewood and post it up on YT.

Why would anyone have a video of people asking for directions? That would be a little boring...
Just for clarification, ATL musicians come from all over the city - certainly not just Bankhead. Your information on Atlanta seems awfully limited.
The A has the third highest concentration of homo/bisexual people in the nation behind San Francisco and slightly behind Seattle.
12.8% of the city's population recognize themselves as being gay, lesbian, or bisexual.
