You must be obtuse mentally. People, on both a per-capita and sheer numbers basis, go to bars, pubs and **** holes to drink everywhere in the USA from sea to shining sea.
No one gives two rats-asses about clubs. That's for 20 somethings and old men looking for a 20 something to land their fishing pole in.
You must be 25 or 30 and objectively stupid. No one wants to go to a GD club. That's for a narrow age range to go and get ass and do rails in the bathroom.

Bars are for losers with no imagination for whom entertainment is six pack, pretzels and TV. All of that you will find in every bar. Once you make enough money to pay the cover check it out.

Not really, clubs and lounges are very popular in Spain, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Miami, NYC, LA, Brazil, Puerto Rico...It's a cultural difference It's not necessarily about a narrow age range. There are just as many or more drunk idiot bars, far more so actually, than there are clubs.

Drunk idiots are everywhere. There are drunk idiots at family barbecues.
A dance club is ideally for music and dancing while a bar is ideally for cheap, interesting drinks (either fancy mixed or local brews or something like that), company, and bar games.
Somehow, for men everywhere, both a club and a bar become just about women
