San diego has ghettos? LOL!!!!! Yes there are neighborhoods that are run down and have some crime. Visually, these neighborhoods just look low wealth with a few taggings on walls. The crime isn't that bad either. Visually and Criminally, areas like St. Louis, Compton, Chicago, Detroit are all way more ghetto than anywhere in San Diego is.

For a small town with 90,000 people I would say Port Arthur, TX is ghetto.





For larger cities I would say parts of Baltimore, Miami, Philadelphia, and Cleveland would also fit this bill although I would say Gary, IN is the worst.

That'd be a perfect area for Urban Gardens, or rural gardens looking at the lack or population.
