Knowing the reputation of Louisiana and FEMA, I would image LSU and the city would have a hard time trying to get the funding to build it.
FEMA is willing to pay for repairs to the current med center they just don't see the point in building a new one from scratch and relocating the residents displaced by it. LSU can't afford to build the hospital and wants to stick the balance to the city, threatening to move the center to Baton Rouge. The other Universities are getting to the point where they're willing to get together and run the center without LSU, but that would guarantee a decrease in funding.

Typical LA politics.

Emory Healthcare is quite a large one with several locations...the Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital, Emory Hospital Midtown(Crawford Long), Emory University School of Medicine, Emory Spine and Orthapedics Hospital, Emory Children's Hospital, and a few others.

There are several large hospitals/centers in Atlanta other than the photos below...Piedmont, Northside, Southern Regional, South Fulton, Gwinnett, Kennestone, etc.

Here are a couple of photos:

In Texas, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Galveston, and I think Temple, College Station, and El Paso have one as well. Did I miss any?
