Domestically, Dallas by a long shot. In this day and age, Houston still probably is number two in name recognition. Austin beats both in popularity.

Internationally, Id say Houston is more well known. There are some exceptions, like India and Korea IMO, but especially in Latin America and the rest of Asia, Houston seems more well known.

I would say Dallas, followed by Austin. Houston third San Antonio fourth.

The first one that comes to mind is Dallas. Unless there's a chemical fire that week, then it's Houston. Or if I'm talking to a millennial, it's Austin. Otherwise, it's Dallas.

To the average Joe...Dallas because of the Cowboys, the Kennedy assassination, and the TV show “Dallas.”

Don’t underestimate the power of Sports marketing. For the same reasons I bet most people think of Cincinnati in Ohio before thinking of Columbus or Cleveland - both bigger cities!

Domestically I do agree. Internationally though I would give Houston the nod.

Actually in terms of Ohio sports.... I tend to think of Cleveland before Cincinnati, but point taken
