Which one of the following Sunbelt states do you consider to have the best quality of life, job opportunities, natural scenery, and best overall cities: Texas, North Carolina, Georgia or Florida?

The way the economy is right now, I guess I would say TX, NC, GA, FL in that order.

I've been to all except Georgia. My picks would be in order: Texas (Of course!), Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia.

I'd say Texas, Georgia, and a tie between NC and Florida in that order.

If money wasn't an issue, then I'd say Texas/Florida tied, then GA and NC.

It would take all three of those states GDP combined to compete with Texas GDP.

1. texas: edge on diversity, culture, food, various regions, and numerous other things

2. georgia: edge on having the most desirable major metro, architecture, charm, and savannah lol

3. florida: i might've said some not nice things in the past, but honestly there are many great things about it. disney world (one of my best childhood memories), beautiful beaches, cool people, and how can you not like the exotic flavor of south florida

4. north carolina: the northeast of the south. i honestly don't know much about this state (lived there for a while as a small child, though), but i do know it's beautiful and has great schools
