And is it just me, or are there a large amount of posters in the Dallas and Phoenix (and to an extent, Houston) forums who are constantly trumping up how “wonderful” it is and how “terrible” it is where we live – from people who’ve probably never lived anywhere else. If it's so great, why are they on a message board constantly justifying why they live there? If they were actually happy and it's so great in those places they wouldn’t have to constantly justify themselves and overcompensate for their insecurity.

And is it just me or do you sound like a broken record who repeats nothing but the same thing??

Personally if I felt that way I would just stop opening threads about Dallas, Phoenix, and Houston. It would ease some of your frustrations.

Same could be said of poster from NYC, Chicago, and any other large city in which us Sunbelters were put on this Earth to envy.
And is it just me or do you sound like a broken record who repeats nothing but the same thing??
Of course one of the main, most prolific and obnoxious Texan posters who can't go an hour without getting on their Blue Hippo or college library Computer to proclaim the greatness of the Lone Star State would say something. The hypocrisy and irony are duly noted

I fail to see how any of your posts have added any value to the OP's questions. In addition, I think you have it a little backwards. Since many people from Phoenix, Dallas, other parts of the Sunbelt come from other parts of the country, how is it possible for them to have probably never lived anywhere else? Usually it is the Phoenix/Dallas/Houston/Rest of the Sunbelt posters who are constantly having to defend the derogatory and ignorant comments from posters typically from the NE or Upper Midwest who have never visited cities in the Sunbelt, yet speak about how "terrible" the Sunbelt is and how fabulous their cities are despite the fact that they are not growing to the same degree that the Sunbelt cities are.
