Pick a city (preferably yours) and state another city that it has the strongest connection with. It doesn't have to be in the same state, it can be across the country, it can even be in Hawaii or Alaska or Puerto Rico. And if you want you can include the Canadian cities too. State why you picked the city that you did, give good reasoning. Try to limit it to listing two cities for your city, no more than that. And yes, people in NYC are free to say London if they want, but try to keep it to just the cities in US and Canada please.
Chicago: Toronto- Chicago Reason: Both are land trapped and on a Great Lake, both are similar in city proper population (not that far off), they're both partner cities, both are land locked and large in-land ports, both have astonishing skylines. Chicago has the tallest free standing structure in the US (Willis Tower) and Toronto has the tallest in Canada/North America (CN Tower), they have similar weather, etc... there's so much more stuff than that.

Anyways do you think it shares a lot of similarities with Cincy too?
Economically related
Close to each other.
Both are about the same size
Tampa has everything but NBA, we have NBA
Neither is actually located on the beach
Downtowns dont make you go "ooooo"
High Speed rail will give it even more of a reason to be connected
We get their channels and radio stations in Orlando as well.

Is this making sense? Like the thing I'm trying to say.
It's like this:
Houston- Dallas----------
---------Dallas- Atlanta
Dallas is a bit of the middle ground between Houston and Atlanta. Like they've all got similarities but two are similar to each other (Houston-Dallas) & (Dallas- Atlanta) but not all three can be very similar to each other, IMHO.

Yes, Louisville is pretty much Cincinnati's little brother.
Baltimore and Boston seem similar, at least from what I've seen.

I think a really strong connection would be Boston and Philadelphia for sure.
Both historic cities where some of the first things about this country started.
Both have some of the largest and prestigious institutions in the country.
Both are on North/South side of NYC.
Both have a lot of common ancestry from Europe for immigrants.
They're both highly dense cities.
There might be more, but those are just a few off the top of my head.
Yeahhh I've always felt that Louisville has something going on with Cincinnati, they're not too far away from each other to be dramatically different. Both sit on the Ohio River, I believe.
