I don't understand the "two-man show" either. This should be in the US Forum.

since we are talking Detroit vs Cleveland, I'm suprised to see Detroit way up in the rankings on airport traffic, DTW still has more than 3 times the traffic as Cleveland List of airports in the United States by passengers boarded - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't see what's so surprising about that. Detroit's metro area is almost twice as large as Cleveland's.

It is good to see some investment in Cleveland. Hope it turns things around. The convention center is only about 25 years late but it should be an asset to the area. When I lived in Cleveland it seemed like so many of the bigger shows were at the IX Center.

That and DTW is the only real international airport in Michigan. On many occasions, people from Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Grand Rapids drive to Detroit to fly out. Ohio has 4 international airports with a minimum of 1,000,000 enplanements per year. Michigan has 1. People in OH also have the option of driving to Pittsburgh. This is clearly a matter of the fact that Cleveland and Ohio has significantly better international airport service options than Michigan does.

One of my favorite things about Cleveland is RTA. I've never had a bus be late on me or a train ride give me any problems. Love it! I could see myself going car free in Cleveland and east Lakewood, no problem.
